G.I. Bill

The new "Post 9/11 GI Bill" (Chapter 33) boasts the most comprehensive educational benefits package since the original GI Bill was signed into law in 1944.

Students can use their VA Benefits to earn an A.A.S. Degree in Aviation Pilot Training, and be qualified to start a successful career as a professional flight instructor or professional pilot for large and small corporations and airlines.

For qualified veterans, the VA Benefits will pay for all required tuition and flight fees to earn an A.A.S. degree and the following pilot certifications:

  • Private Pilot Certificate
  • Additional Instrument Rating
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate
  • Certified Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI)
  • Certified Instrument Flight Instructor Certificate (CFII)

Also, qualified veterans are paid a housing allowance during their training.
